Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to share the story behind Unspoken Rosebud with you today. My journey to create beautiful, elegant, and pretty lingerie for ladies with a stoma, ostomy has been deeply personal and transformative.
In 2013, I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. The diagnosis was a shock, and the subsequent treatments were challenging. As part of my treatment, I underwent surgery that left me with an ileostomy. This experience was life-altering and brought with it a myriad of emotions and adjustments. After recovering from my second ileostomy, I found myself searching for lingerie that would make me feel beautiful and confident again. I wanted something made from luxurious materials like silk, lace, and cotton jersey—items that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing. To my surprise, I found that such products were incredibly scarce.

This gap in the market sparked a desire within me to create something special for women like myself. Thus, Unspoken Rosebud was born. I wanted to offer lingerie that not only met practical needs but also made women feel elegant and empowered. Every piece I design is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring comfort and beauty go hand in hand.
But my journey didn’t stop there. Living with a stoma, ostomy comes with its own set of emotional and psychological challenges. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable insights into managing these aspects of life. As a qualified therapist with many years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with numerous individuals, helping them navigate their own paths to healing and acceptance.
I realized that my personal experience, combined with my professional background, put me in a unique position to offer support and guidance. This led me to expand my offerings to include coaching, one-on-one sessions, and a membership program. Through these avenues, I provide tailored advice and support to those living with a stoma, ostomy, helping them to manage anxiety, stress, depression, and to become relaxed, in control and confident. With skills that you can use for the rest of your life. Are you IN??
