Apps that help you find accessible toilets
What a worry this can be to find accessible toilets. Where do you start, do you start looking before you plan a day out or a holiday?
I had heard about apps that give you the knowledge that will take the worry away. I have been able to find multiple that cover the UK, Europe and the world. Even I have found one or two that cover cities which is great to take away this worry of WHERE are these toilets.
Giving you the knowledge and the peace of mind, that there are apps out there to help you and take away that worry and stress of having a brilliant day out or holiday.
Many of these apps also have a rating system as well so there will be no unpleasant surprises. How cool is that. These include the opening times which is important to know.
If you need to have a Radar key or not as well more for the UK.
All this information is so easy to access, all you need is a smart phone and your chosen app. Many of us have one of these phones today.
Here is a list of what I have found and where they cover
1)Accessaloo, world wide
2) HogeNood, Netherlands and Belgium
3)The National Public Toilet Map app, Austrlia
4)Accessible Japan, Japan
5)Able Amstredam
6)Toilets4London
7)HandicapX, 247 World Countries
8)The Great British Public Toilets, UK
9)Bathroom Scout, worldwide
10)Sit or squat, worldwide but only for the android
11)Flush, worldwide
12)WheelMate, worldwide
13)Changing Places, UK
14)Continence NZ, New Zealand
What a list? They don’t all have great names but it does make it easy to remember.
This is so amazing that there has been thought and action around this and it is easy to find and use the apps. Another bonus is that they are free.
Which one will you be using?
